Vasile Soare

Vasile Soare is a Romanian diplomat. He served as Romanian Ambassador to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan (2002–2008).
==Biography==
On February 7, 2002, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary ambassador of Romania to Kazakhstan Vasile Soare presented credentials to President Nursultan Nazarbayev.〔(Credentials Presented )〕 Vasile Soare has studied about the Soviet deportations from Bessarabia and Northern Bukovina.〔(Valurile de deportări-Prezenţa Românilor în Kazahstan –Vasile SOARE )〕
Also, on September 9, 2003, a memorial monument was unveiled in the Spassk village in the memory of the Romanian WWII prisoners who had been buried in the Karlag memorial cemetery. With the help of the local authorities Vasile Soare discovered that 6,740 Romanian captives were kept in the Karaganda region prisons between 1941 and 1946. 827 of them were buried in the Spassk cemetery.〔(Prizonierii militari si civili romani detinuti in lagarele de concentrare staliniste de pe teritoriul regiunii Karaganda, Kazahstan, in perioada 1941-1950 )〕〔(Lista prizonierilor de război români îngropaţi pe teritoriul Lagărului pentru prizonieri de război nr. 99 al Ministerului de Interne al U.R.S.S. )〕
